-7 with a cold wind today.

The chicken that I figured was broken isn’t broken after all.  This past week or so, and for the first time ever ..with this batch of chickens, I have been getting 12 eggs (2 out of every 3 days if not more).  Why this never happened before I can figure out, since other batches of chickens would give me 12 on a consistent bases at this age.  Since I had been getting 11 a day since they started laying (June) my reasoning told me that one wasn’t laying at all.  Well, either 2 chickens were taking turns laying every other day without fail, or this chicken decided to learn how, because 6 months without 12 eggs, ever!, is weird odds any other way.
